How to get here
Do you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of Tromsø city to experience the proximity of nature's northern lights and wild animals? It doesn't take long and it doesn't have to be complicated.
With us you are in an oasis surrounded by silence and beautiful, pure nature. Here you don't need to go aurora hunting, because you can see the northern lights from the windows of the lodges/cabins or from outside in the sauna, jacuzzi or a cozy bonfire, on a clear autumn or winter evening.
As we are welcoming on-site hosts, we will be flexible to arrange activities to suit the weather.
- You can book a rental car from several rental car companies at and near Tromsø Airport. The trip to us is estimated to take 3.5 hours.
- You can take the airport bus (Flybussen) into Tromsø Harbor terminal at Prostneset (near the city center and Clarion Hotel the Edge). From here you can take express boat, line 2, to Finnsnes. The trip with the speed boat takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. We can pick you up at finnsnes and bring you back. A good alternative on the return is to take the Hurtigruten at 11.30 from Finnsnes. This is a piece of Norway's most beautiful sea journey by cruise ship. Here you can go to restaurants or go out on the deck to take lovely pictures. - If you don't want to take the sea route or drive yourself, you can take a bus that goes from Tromsø to Narvik and back every day. Here we can pick you up at Buktamoen and drive you back. The trip is about 3.5 hours in total. https://bestarctic.com/thearcticroute/tromso-narvik-narvik-tromso
